There comes with a pad holder and a red pad on the package as extra spare parts. The pad holder shall be used with pads. NEVER try to use the pad holder directly on the floor, the sharp bristle will hurt your floor seriously. The pad/brush is medium duty, be careful to use it on very easy scratching floor.
